Andrea Corr

Andrea Jane Corr MBE is an Irish musician, singer and actress. Corr debuted in 1990 as The lead singer in the Celtic folk rock and pop group The Corrs along with her three elder siblings Caroline Sharon and Jim. Andrea Corr is an Irish performer, songwriter and actress. She was awarded her Most Excellent Order of the British Empire award. She is well known as a member of the Celtic pop and rock band The Corrs. Andrea is the singer-lead in the band, and plays multiple instruments. Andrea, who first began performing as an actor in the year 1991, then grew into a musical talent and stage artist. She was the voice of The Quest for Camelot, an animated Warner Bros. cartoon film that was released in 1998. Andrea has six studio albums to her credit, as well as two compilation albums, four live albums and an album of mix. Furthermore, she was awarded awards for her work in the field of humanitarian aid. Andrea is married and has two children to her stockbroker. Andrea started her music lessons using the tin-whistle. Gerry showed her how to play the piano. Andrea is also proficient on the Ukulele. Her teenage years were spent polishing her music abilities. She would sing with her brothers and was eventually promoted to the position of the lead singer of the group.
