Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actor from the United States. Since the late 80s, Angela Evelyn has worked in film and TV. Her work has been recognized with many awards, including the 16 NAACP Image Awards. Bassett born in Winston-Salem North Carolina by her aunt after being born in New York New York, is well-known as an actress. Bassett along with her sister, and their mother relocated from the city of Winston-Salem to St. Petersburg Florida when Bassett was 5 years old. Their father had split from the mother of their children. In high school, Bassett was a spectator of John Steinbeck's play Of Mice and Men starring James Earl Jones and decided that she wanted to become an actor. Yale University New Haven Connecticut gave her a bachelor's degree (1980) which was in African American study, and an honorary doctorate (1983) in the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance was also an actor at Yale. The couple got married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. degree in African-American studies in 1980. Master of Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grade) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett has been cast as one of the main roles of Ramonda in the action-adventure movie i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
